The National Honor Society at Tennessee Technology Center at Elizabethton inducted 40 news members during ceremonies held at First Freewill Baptist Church in Mountain City on March 6, 2005.
Membership is limited to students with a 95 overall grade point average and no attendance policy violations who are nominated by a faculty member. By county, new inductees are:

Among community service projects, honor society members provided gifts to 38 children at Christmas, valentines to local nursing home residents, conducted a fall clean up on the shoreline of Watauga Lake and held a yard sale to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
